I'm trying to find a signature look for my OC Superhero Tytan.
He always wears his mask, a hat (always backwards), hoodie (with the sleeves rolled up), and chuck taylors.
The elements are there, I just can't find a way for them to work as a unit. I want the costume to be more of a reflection of his personality, than superhuman abilities. His costume needs to be urban and feasible for a runaway teen to make on a low budget, but at the same time something that would make him iconic in his own way. Basically a mix between civilian teenager, and superhero.
Second and fourth on top row I like especially. The second one is very attention-grabbing, a nice way of saying "Here's the hero!" while still retaining his look. The fourth one definitely has the iconic look, though I'm not entirely certain where you'd find a hoodie with just red bands on the shoulders. But it's not out of possibility, and the overall look is quite striking.
Yeah that's the most popular color scheme. I like the simplicity of the the two designs, and subtlety of the 4th one.
The shoulder designs you mentioned are Ts. He doesn't want a big flashy logo on his chest. But he customizes a lot of his gear (stitching, spray paint, sharpie, etc.)
The mask is just a really his way of distancing himself from the outside world. Heroes don't wear masks, but Tytan does, and that bothers people. He does heroic actions, but with a barrier between him and everyone else that doesn't always comes through. Plus it looks mad cool (in a kinda creepy sorta way).
Thanks. I was planning on doing a hood up version (when in stealth mode, fights, etc.), but removing the hat could be good thing. I'll give that a shot.

Can you elaborate on the stripe on the hood idea?
