Redesigns of Marvel's iconic foursome.
I'll go into details on the individual characters later, but for now here are the preliminary thoughts:
The team: A privately funded, ragtag collection of specialist go to space in the name of adventure and discovery. Things went wrong. They're not vigilantes, "superheroes" per say, but space explorers... that just so happen save the planet from time to time. When not in the line of fire, the members of FF offer their various skills, and experiences to the scientific and superhero communities. They're not as famous as the Avengers, X-Men, or even Spidey but they're really popular by hardcore science and superhero fanatics.
Reed Richards: 1st off he's an astronaut, not a nerd. Anyone who goes to space, gets super powers, and calls himself Mr. Fantastic does not necessarily fit the archetype for a "nerd."
He's a young, prematurely balding ambitious genius that leads the "Fantastic Four."
Sue Storm: She's Reed's prolonged fiance and Johnny's older sister. Even though she's normally unseen in the teams endeavors, she's a very important member of the team.
Her "invisibility" is an illusion; she bends light so that makes her even more of a threat to an adversary.
Johnny Storm: Sue's hot headed and protective younger brother. He's the only one. He's that character Chris Pine plays in every movie basically.
The Thing: Reed's best friend. He's still the ol' reliable ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing. His appearance is one of the primary reasons why the FF tries to avoid publicity.
This is my take on the FF. Did I do the character's justice? Tell me what you think. I feed off of feedback.
