Jesus Christ

My first deviant! And who better to tribute than my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! (Answer: no one!)

This is my idea of Jesus in my head. If/when I create a movie about Him This is what I want to convey:

He is a very real human being. Too many people try to capture the fact the fact that he is the Son of God and they overdo it (halos, glowing eyes and what-naught), and that's just wrong. Christ was a real person. Flesh and blood. He was also a MAN! Yes Christ was and is a kind gentle person, but he was/ is the guy that builds things with his hands (carpenter) and he was not afraid of getting dirty (spitting in the mud to create eyes for a blind man. Yes that man was healed ).

I gave Jesus an afro, not because I envisioned him as some dude from a 70's blaxposition film, but because I don't think he cut his hair that often. Long flowy hair and dreads don't really cut it to me. Plus it kinda looks like a mane and lambs wool (The Lion and The Lamb.)

I wanted Jesus to have an EPIC beard, but I didn't want him to look TOO unkempt (shaving probably wasn't his must important thing on his list ). I also wanted to show his face and keep him looking relatively young (and non-creepy hippie looking either ).

Jesus's clothes should be simple but not ratty. And I gave him hairy arms and legs to re-ittify (a legit word ) the fact that he's a MAN!

Basically I wanted to have my first be dedicated to God who gave me my talents and my desire to create with drawings. And I wanted to make it realistic and AWESOME
