First two are definitely the best. The second one on the bottom is also good, but to be honest the third one on the top looks like someone else tried to look like Batman for the night (something I think is useful...)

Thanks. I'd say the 1st two, and the 2nd and 3rd on the bottom.

The rest of them, like you said (well not really), look like dudes in hockey pads.

One of the main aspects/benefits of having the mask covered is him being able to personified by others (Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Batman Beyond, Superman?). It makes him something that cannot be killed or corrupted, a legend.

And it's creepy to just see those eyes staring at you in a dark alley. Makes him less him less of a man.

Aye. Although I'm toying with having Superman wear tights when he pretends to be Batman... mostly on the grounds that he designed his bat-suit BEFORE he got a good chance to see beneath the cape, and it's partially just an excuse to reference both Batman: TAS as well as Superman's old outfit (which I do not want to use for Superman's regular wear).

But yes, I personally feel that the real Batman would cover his face completely and try to look less human.

Pretty cool. There would be some modding of the bat suit to enhance/take advantage of the abilities of the wearier. Potentially Alfred could don the suit and be able to fight some crime.

Aye. That's actually had a moderate success rate in the past... take a gander here. [link]

He was a military man, an actor, and other awesome things. Combine these things with his first hand experiences of life inside the Bat Cave, Alfred is sure to be a beast, or at the very least really cool as a Batman.

And Batman has a Transformer!?! Dude gets cooler by the day!

Also Superman doesn't need body armor for anything from bullets to most grenades (anything larger, and my version has a problem on his hands).
