Avengers Redesign

Did a survey not too long ago to see which of my unfinished projects my watchers would like to see finished (check my journal entry) and the Avengers redesigns on heromatic won. So here we are.

My basic idea was that in the sequel the heroes would embrace the fact they are just that: heroes. And with this new identity comes a new look.

Captain America: A jarhead and super special ops soldier for SHIELD that joins the team of heroes and leads them in world-saving missions. Uniform inspired by the Olympics.

Iron Man: Still the, genius billionaire, playboy, philanthropist that we all love to love.

Thor: He willingly stayed away from Asgard to be a hero. So I just made him look more like a Viking superhero (less pretty; more rugged and with a beardier beard). And I got rid of the circles... never really liked them (they're on his belt now).

Hulk: You have an army... That's cute.

Hawkeye: He's probably the weakest of the group so that's why he has the most dramatic look. Faux Hawke(eye) and towel for keeping his hands dry just add to his flamboyent, yet refined look.

Black Widow: In Soviet Russia, ballet watch you. Yeah I just traded her smile with red. Widow doesn't strike me as a happy person.

Fury: Can't say I'm a fan of either version (corporate-political-douchey BS doesn't sit well with me). That said, Nick Fury should be the ridiculous mortal fighting alongside with the Avengers. I mean seriously, in the movie he should've kicked a Chirauri out of his speedracer, slapped a saddle on it and yelled "giddyup." While smoking a cigar.

In conclusion this is my redesign/Marvel reborn costumes and mini descriptions.

Now to Tytan and the OCs that only exist in my head and sketchbook right now!
